HōmWorks carries a full insurance program through Travelers and The Hartford. These policies protect the associations and owners we serve, from a bookkeeping error to fraud to a data breach.
Insurance is our backstop. Our controls come first: separate people reconcile accounts, enter bills and pay bills, two people approve every wire, checks require two signatures, and every system uses two-factor authentication.
Certificates of insurance are available to clients on request.

General Liability
$2,000,000 per occurrence and $4,000,000 aggregate through Travelers. Covers bodily injury, property damage, and personal and advertising injury claims.
Professional Liability
$1,000,000 per claim through Travelers, with defense costs paid in addition to the limit. Covers claims that an error in our bookkeeping, accounting or tax work caused a financial loss.
Crime and Employee Theft
$500,000 per loss through Travelers. Covers employee theft, including theft of client funds and property, plus forgery, computer fraud and funds transfer fraud.
Social Engineering Fraud
$250,000 through Travelers. Covers losses from fraudulent payment instructions, such as fake vendor invoices or impersonation emails.
Cyber Liability
$1,000,000 through Travelers. Covers data breach response and notification, ransomware, privacy and network security claims, and business interruption.
Workers' Compensation
Statutory workers' compensation in California, with $1,000,000 in employers liability, through The Hartford.
